The right equipment

To get started you will need:

• Grow tent or grow box in a suitable size
• Lighting (full spectrum LED lighting)
• Ventilation system with activated carbon filter
• High-quality substrate or soil
• Fertilizer for growth and flowering phases

• Pots and irrigation system

Substrates & Soil

Choosing the right substrate is crucial:

• Soil: Ideal for beginners, forgiving of mistakes
• Coconut coir: Good drainage, for advanced growers
• Hydroponics: Maximum control, for professionals

Fertilization done right

Over-fertilizing is a common mistake! Start with half the recommended dose and increase it gradually. Pay attention to the different growth phases:

• Growth phase: Nitrogen-rich fertilizers
• Flowering phase: Fertilizers high in phosphorus and potassium
• Flushing: Water with water only 1-2 weeks before harvest.

Climate control

Optimal conditions:

• Temperature: 22-26°C (day), 18-22°C (night)
• Humidity: 50-70% (growth), 40-50% (flowering)
