The right equipment
To get started you will need:
- Grow tent or grow box in a suitable size
- Lighting (full spectrum LED lighting)
- Ventilation system with activated carbon filter
- High-quality substrate or soil
- Fertilizer for growth and flowering phases

- Pots and irrigation system
Substrates & Soil
Choosing the right substrate is crucial:
- Soil: Ideal for beginners, forgiving of mistakes
- Coconut coir: Good drainage, for advanced growers
- Hydroponics: Maximum control, for professionals
Fertilization done right
Over-fertilizing is a common mistake! Start with half the recommended dose and increase it gradually. Pay attention to the different growth phases:
- Growth phase: Nitrogen-rich fertilizers
- Flowering phase: Fertilizers high in phosphorus and potassium
- Flushing: Water with water only 1-2 weeks before harvest.

- Temperature: 22-26°C (day), 18-22°C (night)
